Ideally located in a harbor, just few steps from the ferry that will take you to the most memorable trip of all times – a trip to enchanting Cinque Terre.
Five fishing coastal villages, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterroso will take your breath away with a scenic view of Ligurian sea and colorful houses build up in the hill. They were recognized by the UNESCO Mankind’s World heritage in 1997 and became even more desirable for all devoted travelers.

There are few housing options in villages, but I would advise you to locate yourself in La Spezia, the closest town to the national park and the best base for connections to villages – either by boat or by train. While I was exploring these magical lands I stayed at Hotel NH La Spezia and as I have visited Cinque Terre a year before, I was aware of the ideal and convenient location of this property.

Best starting point to explore Cinque Terre!
LOCATION
Hotel NH La Spezia has the best location in town, especially if you are in the area to explore magical Cinque Terre national park. As you probably know, the best way to explore coastal fishing villages is by boat or by train, which gives NH hotel advantage, as it is located right across the marina and just 15 minutes walk from La Spezia Centrale railway station. Because the marina is across the street, you can easily catch the ferry to tour the beautiful mountainous and famous Cinque Terre. Additionally, the hotel is just minutes away and walking distance from the main attraction area of La Spezia city, therefore a perfect location for those who love shopping and dining.
INTERIOR
This modern 4 star hotel has 110 rooms and suites styled in Italian architecture and contemporary facilities. We spent two nights in a sea view suite and it was quite lovely walking up in 8th floor with a view over marina. Each room is equipped with in-room safe, climate control, wireless internet, pay television and a phone. Nh La Spezia Hotel offers bathrooms fitted with a bathtub, a shower and a bidet.
FOOD
The breakfast in the restaurant had a large variety of food proposals. Hot and cold breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious with a proper selection of all kinds of local and international dishes. Hotel amenities include the seasonal outdoor restaurant and piano bar, however we didn’t try it out, due to lack of time.
If you are looking for a lovely stay, close to Cinque Terre park with good connections to villages, Nh hotel is the perfect place for you.
