Tranquil and private stay just few minutes from crowded city of Venice.
LOCATION
After arriving to Venice, we continued our trip to San Clemente Island, and I couldn’t believe that within 15 minutes complimentary water shuttle from crowded square of San Marco, we arrived to a peaceful oasis with lush gardens and beautiful view of Venetian Lagoon. Location of this property is just outstanding as it offers both – the city life during the day and ideal peaceful atmosphere by night.
ROOMS
Enormous property with 129 rooms and 61 suites with wide corridors and generously sized rooms will give you extreme comfort and space, which is not the case of many European hotel standards. All rooms are furnished in classical Venetian style with antiques and high ceilings to keep up with the rest of the hotel.
Additionally, lavish bathrooms with marble bathtubs and separated glass showers will impress you, as well in Deluxe rooms and suites you will find Acqua di Parma toiletries.
BREAKFAST & DINNING
From all services, I was mostly looking forward to try their international breakfast buffet in Insieme restaurant and again it exceeded all my expectations. An excellent start of the day, offering fresh international standard choices as well as some local dishes. Thumbs up!
There are 2 additional restaurants in San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice, La Dolce Restaurant, where you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and if you are in a mood of refined gourmet cuisine, L’Acquerello will surprise you with original combinations.
ACTIVITIES
The property has a sea view swimming pool with a charming scene around it. As well there are tennis courts, a mini-golf course, a gym and option for a spa treatments. Everything for those who want to stay active and for those who want to relax while on their vacation.
To sum up, this property is a spectacular venue, beautifully appointed and perfect for those who like to explore crowded Venice during the day, yet to enjoy romantic evenings in a peaceful atmosphere by night. Everything was very satisfactory from the check-in to the check-out.
