What is Priceless Croatia Program?
Priceless Croatia is a new addition to the Priceless Cities program, that brings 20 experiences and 20 specials to be available to Mastercard cardholders from June 1 till September 30 throughout Croatia.
Among 20 unique locations we decided to try out something exciting, something we have never done. While scrolling the website, we stopped by one experience that immediately convinced us both and soon we were on our way to an island called Obonjan, to experience our first glamping getaway.

Now what is glamping? Exactly what it sounds like, a glamorous camping. Glamping is a combination of outdoor living with hotel comfort. And if you are anything like me, a person who loves nature but it is afraid of it at the same time, glamping is a perfect combination to get the best of both worlds.
I was excited, not knowing what I am getting into, but in a second we arrived to this free spirit island, it exceeded all my expectations.
ROOMS
When we arrived I didn’t know what to expect. I had in mind a small tent with sleeping bags, but I was blown away when we parked our luggage on a porch of our eco-friendly forest lodge (we stayed on west camp, lodge n. W30). Not only we had two bedrooms with two separate beds, we had our own bathroom, fridge and even air conditioning. I was amazed by the complete hotel experience surrounded by nature.
DINING
Extensive breakfast buffet overlooking pool area and deep blue Adriatic sea is above average, from fresh omelette, vegetable, fruit and healthy options, you will be prepared to seize the day. It starts at 8 am and you can eat all you wish until 11 am. There are 2 restaurants on the island and few snacks bars, as well as Green Bar, offering guests a healthy smoothie recharge.
ACTIVITIES
This small island offers a lot of activities, from free yoga classes, paragliding, kayaking, wake-boarding and snorkeling (They offer 20% discount with renting sports equipment for Mastercard holders). For those more adventures, you can rent a boat and explore nearby islands. But don’t worry, if you don’t feel like exercising while on a romantic getaway, spa will convince you to book a couples massage. Plus, with this package, 30 minutes couples massage is complementary.
GETTING THERE
Obonjan is easy to reach. It is located along Croatian coast, just a short boat ride from Šibenik. You can reach Šibenik by flying to Zadar or Split or renting a car and driving to Šibenik. After parking a car (on a public parking near the harbor) only a short boat ride separates you from Obonjan and your peaceful getaway.

FEW BUGS, WHO CARES?!
Well, Ajda cares. She is terrified of spiders and we had a small emergency – a funny one. But when deciding for glamping you need to have in mind that even though the lodge looks like a hotel room, you are still in a tent surrounded by nature, so you might get few uninvited guests to spend the night with you. But if I survived and would go back in a second, you will love the experience.
