White buildings, dramatic blue sea, little curvy streets and colorful flowers on every corner. Santorini, a Greek dream, located in Aegean sea that is one of the most desirable travel destinations. With its reputation of magical sunsets, breathtaking panoramic views and volcanic-sand beaches, who can argue the title of the most beautiful Greek island, right?

You can visit the island by plane or take a hop-on, hop-off ferry ride from nearby islands, like Mykonos. But whether you come just for a day or two to embrace island’s beauty, prepare to be blown away by the scenic views. And don’t forget to bring with you your best camera to capture that picture perfect moment.

While me and Ajda were discovering Santorini, we were located in the capital city called Fira, that offers a different range of hotels. But if you prefer to be located on a cliff with a sweeping view over the dark-blue sea and Caldera, Anteliz Suites is the perfect place to be.

LOCATION

Anteliz Suites is located in the beautiful city of Fira which is, by my opinion, a true gem of Santorini. Cycladic architecture, blooming flowers and dark blue sea makes the city so romantic that you will fall in love immediately. Even though Anteliz Suites is located in busy Fira, the location is remote enough to spend a quiet romantic evening. But if you prefer exploring the city during the day, try traditional Greek food or shop local souvenirs, don’t worry, as this boutique hotel is just few steps away from the city center. It takes approximately 15 minutes pleasant walk to the city’s food square, where you can try the best gyros in town.

Discovering the island is the best by car, so rent a car is a must in Santorini as the public transportation is not your best option. Island is very small so it will take about 20 minutes to Santorini (Thira) National Airport and approximately 25 minutes to the port to catch a ferry. As well the most known village Oia is just 15-20 minutes car ride away.

P.s. As well, for those who enjoy visiting museums, you can easily visit very interesting archeological museum and well-known Megaro Gyzi museum just 500 meter away from hotel.

We stayed in a spacious Master Suite which has a large terrace from where you can observe the most memorable sunsets, but some villas even offer infinity pool overlooking the Caldera. Just magical. But if you are newlyweds, you can also try out their honeymoon suit to make you honeymoon even more special.

All the rooms are very stylishly completed in a specific Santorinian style which always includes natural stones and earth tone colors. Beds are quite large and comfortable. And Master Suite offers 2 bathrooms for additional comfort.

You can choose from à la carte menu from delicious fruit salad to fluffy french croissant, different types of eggs and my favourite choice: fresh fruit juices. And I loved the personal approach as you can choose to have a breakfast in your own room or by the pool. That means breakfast room service is included in the price rate.

This boutique hotel don’t have a restaurant, but don’t worry, as the city center is just around the corner. But it does have a bar next to the pool that offers a splendid view where you can enjoy a glass of best Santorini wines with their unique taste.
