Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco, Capri

50 shades of blue and fresh smell of lemon trees. Poetry! This year I checked off one more place from my bucket list and that is Capri, a classy and luxurious island located in the Campania region of Italy. You probably have heard about this precious jewel, but you probably did not know that it has been a resort since Roman times. What a tradition!

Once you arrive to the Island, you will get stunned by the beautiful color of the sea and breathtaking and scenic views that Capri has to offer.

Even though it’s a small island, stay there for few days, get inspired by untouched nature and recharge! Capri has a lot of beautiful hotels, but if you want to have a luxury stay in a room with outstanding view, à la carte meal options, to be located on incredible location and with be surrounded with the most attentive staff, Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco is the right place for you.

Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco is located on a doorstep of Marina Grande in Capri and offers glorious views over the seaside. Offering the seclusion and serenity that’s absent amongst other hotels in nearby and with main attractions like town’s Piazzetta and Port with walking distance away, is a hotel worth visiting. Hotel has free shuttle service (with clean energy shuttles which are also environment friendly), so you do not have to worry how to come to the best places in the island even if they are not easily reachable by foot. For those who love to walk, you will be able to enjoy exploring the nature in a neighborhood and embrace the smell of the ocean. This place is a perfect choice for those who would like to stay in a place that has a private beach area, is close to main attractions (Augustus gardens, Piazzetta,…) and ferry port and for those who would like to have a romantic walk around the neighborhood. Hotel is also close to the city center where you will find lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Find more ideas about what to do in Capri here…

Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco offers just 11 rooms, some looking over garden and others with extraordinary sea view terrace. If you are longing for a sea breeze on the terrace, Delux sea view room is just the right choice for you. All the rooms are very elegant with lots of decoration details and the beds are super comfortable. Very surprisingly was the fact that they have sound proof rooms.

To make your stay pleasant and memorable they offer:

  • Free shuttle service to city center and to Capri’s Marina Grande port,
  • Free Wi-Fi,

Breakfast is included in a price rate of a room and you can choose from à la carte menu among variety of  different preparations of eggs like eggs Benedict with ham, single courses like salmon with butter, sweets and hot beverages or from buffet. As you may all know, I am a huge fan of crêpes, so I had to try crêpes with organic Nutella and coconut flakes and let me tell you they are so fluffy and tasty that I could eat them everyday. The hotel also offers a dinner options à la carte and I choose to try their famous risotto with scamp and it was very delicious. Do not hesitate to order it. Restaurant, like the rest of the hotel, is very sophisticated and serves exquisite food.

For those looking to indulge in Capri’s popular local scene, this is the best place to visit and I assure you, you will want to return to Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco.

With love,

Vanesa S.
