Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech Hotel is known for its rich contemporary look mixed with Maroccan delight. Gorgeous sophisticated interior with a massive windows overlooking the pool area and the Atlas Mountains behind make every guest stop by and enjoy the moment of serenity.
LOCATION
Perfectly situated on a 231-hectare estate in Tameslouth, not far from the city (12 km), yet far enough to witness a sky full of stars. Let the distance doesn’t stop you to book this hotel as there is a free shuttle bus to old and new city every 2 hours and it takes less than 20 minutes to Medina. As well Marrakech Menara Airport is just 14,5 km away and the hotel offers airport shuttle for 250 dirhams (MAD).

The Fairmont Royal Palm is very diverse when it comes to dining experiences. One of the most memorable moments of my stay was a delightful breakfast on the terrace of Le Caravane with views over the pools and garden. There was a big selection of freshly baked breads, salads, fruit, pastries, cured meats and a omlette bar. The same restaurant offers a la cart option for a dinner. Have a lunch at contemporary cuisine of L’Olivier with a selection of Mediterranean flavours or try a traditional mix of Arab, Berber and Moresque flavors.
The Le Bar is known for a pleasant atmosphere where guests can relax next to the fireplace and enjoy listening to jazz sounds.
SPA
There is an elegant spa area in a separate building with a large swimming pool, gym, steam room, and a hot tub. As well you can book a special treatment in individual massage cabins. I tried a signature treatment and after 45 minutes of natural oils and pressure massage I felt relaxed and ready for exploring the city.
SURROUNDINGS AND ACTIVITIES
The property is a true oasis. One of the biggest attractions is a lake-like pool, to provide a privacy to each guest, with Atlas view. Among other activities, the resort as well offers tennis courts and the 18-hole golf course.
Overall, a perfect serene luxurious resort with friendly staff, yet just few minutes away from busy hectic city of Marrakech. I would recommend this hotel to guests who prefer tranquil stay out of the vibrant city.
