Top Romantic Places In Paris, France

Are you traveling to Paris with your soul mate and looking for the top romantic places to take pictures? Well, you are at the right place, since this article is exactly what you are looking for! But it wasn’t that easy to select since everything is romantic in Paris, even freshly baked baguette. Well not exactly, but when you put a baguette in a picnic basket next to the Eiffel Tower, well that is a poetry!

I think it is safe to say everybody loves Paris. From rising Eiffel Tower, spiritual Notre Dame and chic Champs Elysees, to charming Montmartre and Sacre Coeur that offers the best view of the city. What is not to love? After moving to States I’m even more excited that I get to spend this summer in Europe starting with romantic Paris as my first stop. This was already my third time visiting Paris, and I was even more excited that I get to visit in Spring when everything is in its fool bloom. Once again, I was on a mission! Because everyone romanticize this city so much, I decided to find the most romantic places to take pictures, and this is what I came up with! Let me know what you think!

  • EIFFEL TOWER

My first top romantic place in Paris is of course Eiffel Tower. You can’t go to Paris and not visit the iconic Eiffel Tower, right?

There are so many places to take pictures with the tower since it was build the way that the top spreads all around the city. But I found two in particular, one under the tower and one at the Place du Trocadero which is one of the favorite place to take pictures on Instagram.

  • NOTRE DAME

My second favorite romantic place in Paris is one of the finest French Gothic architecture – Notre Dame. In only one week I was there twice, since I love the energy around the medieval cathedral. It is very crowded, but to me the energy is very peaceful especially if you go behind the Notre Dame where the little park is located. But be careful for girls asking you to sign a petition, as this is a scam and they will try to empty your pockets.

  • PLACE DE LA CONCORDE

Place de la Concorde is one of the bigest public squares in Paris and it leads directly to shoppig heaven on Champs Elysees. You will find two fountains on this square, Maritime Fountain representing maritime spirit of France (on the south), and Fountain of the Rivers representing the Rhone and Rhine River (on the north).

  • MONTMARTRE AND SACRE COEUR

This charming little city, located not far from the city center, is my favorite place in Paris by far. If you want to taste real Parisian vibe, visit Montmartre. A lot of shops, bars, markets and the streets are just picture perfect. I would advise you to visit Sacre Coeur and the tower, since it offer one of the most spectacular views I have ever seen in my life. But if you are claustrophobic, reaching the top is going to be intense. There is an entrance fee, but it is only 6 Eur per person, and it is worth it.

  • PONT ALEXANDRE III

This place not only offers a beautiful view of the river Seine, but it is also a lively promenade with restaurants and bars. So if you want to take a break during your sightseeing tours, I would recommend you to stop by at the elegant Pont Alexandre III Bridge. Plus it is one of the most photographed bridges in the world.
