“Perched on a beautiful peninsula overlooking the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea!”
Monte Carlo is one of the most glamorous destinations in the world, thanks to its harbor full of enormous yachts, designer stores and luxury hotels.
During the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters we had a chance to stay in the luxurious Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort that is located in the heart of Monaco on the Mediterranean coast.
- Stars: *****
- Price: from 260 € per night (depends on the season)
- Location: 40 Av. Princesse Grace, 98000 Monaco, France
- Website: www.montecarlobay.com
The hotel is known for its classic decor and French Riviera setting. With 334 rooms, including 22 suites, three restaurants and beautifully landscaped grounds, this is one of the premier resorts in Monte Carlo.
THE LOCATION
The chic and bright Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort is located on the world famous Avenue Princess Grace, but the downside is that the hotel is a tad far from the main city center. That is why they do offer limousine service to explore the city, the Palace and around Monaco.
However, it is within walking distance to the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters, which was very important for us.
ROOMS
The rooms are well appointed, clean, and are large by European hotel standards.
We had a mountain-ocean view room with a nice terrace to relax and I definitely recommend you to book a room with at least partial ocean view (if your wallet can afford this).
POOL
The hotel is situated by the sea and has a complex of swimming pools, indoors and outdoors, one of which looks like a lagon and has a sandy bottom.
Waterfalls, luxuriant gardens and a solarium are integrated into this new Eden of pleasure.
SPA CINQ MONDES
Spa Cinq Mondes offers a range of relaxing treatments and is dedicated to wellbeing, with massage rooms and couples treatment areas.
FOOD
Food at the hotel restaurants was delicious and a drink at the Blue Gin bar, under the Mediterranean starry sky, truly is a must!
The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, also offers three superb restaurants, including the amazing Blue Bay, masterfully orchestrated by its Michelin-starred chef, Marcel Ravin.
Overall this is a spectacular hotel with incredible staff, amenities and rooms, that I would definitely recommend!
With love, Vanesa S.
